Mixed Martial Arts (MMA)/Gracie JiuJitsu Summer Camp for Teens
To be Held at HaysMed

HAYS, Kansas (May 21, 2012)   The HaysMed Center for Health Improvement will host a Mixed Martial Arts (MMA)/Gracie Jiu-Jitsu summer camp for teens ages 15-19.  The camp will be held Monday through Thursday, June 18 through June 21 from 4:00 pm – 6:00 pm at The Center for Health Improvement, 2500 Canterbury Hays, Kansas.

Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) is an up and coming sport that blends techniques from many different types of martial arts to achieve success.   During training athletes are required to push themselves to a higher level of fitness.  In this camp students will be exposed to techniques in Gracie Jiu-Jitsu, Muay-Thai and wrestling.  The focus during the camp will be on MMA techniques, sports specific strength and conditioning for MMA athletes, as well as flexibility and agility.

The registration fee is $60 for members of The Center for Health Improvement and $75 for non-members.
