Athletic Edge Staff
Jamie Kohl, M.Ed, ATC, CSCS
Jamie is a 2003 graduate of Fort Hays State University where he earned his Bachelor's degree in Physical Education with an emphasis in athletic training. He became a certified athletic trainer in June 2003 and a Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist in 2008. Following graduation at FHSU he accepted a full ride scholarship to North Carolina State University to be a graduate assistant athletic trainer where he worked with closely with cross country, track, and men's soccer while assisting while assisting with many other sports including working the women's "Jimmy V Classic" basketball tournament and the men's "Black Coaches Association Invitational" basketball tournament.
Jamie began working at High Plains Sports Medicine in 2006 and works in the design and operation of the Athletic Edge & Finish FIRST enhancement programs as well as the Athletic Testing Combine. Jamie also works as a personal trainer and athletic trainer in the Outpatient Rehabilitation department at CHI.
Shawn Landers, MS, ATC, CSCS
Shawn is a 2000 Graduate of Northwestern College where he majored in Exercise Science and played baseball. He became a Certified Athletic Trainer in 2000 and Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist in 2002. In 2003, Shawn received his Master's of Science degree in Health and Human Performance from Ft. Hays St. University.
Shawn began work with High Plains Sports Medicine in 2000 and has been instrumental in creating and operating the Athletic Edge enhancement program and the Athletic Testing Combine. In addition, Shawn continues to work as a personal trainer and athletic training in the Outpatient Rehabilitation department at The Center.
