Dr. Anne O'Dea


Dr. O'Dea obtained her medical degree from the University of Kansas School of Medicine where she was elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society. After graduation from medical school, Dr. O'Dea trained in internal medicine at the University of Kansas Hospital in Kansas City. She then completed a fellowship in medical oncology and hematology, in addition to a fellowship in breast oncology, also at KU. She is board certified in internal medicine and oncology. Her research has been published in peer-reviewed journals and at national meetings of cancer specialists.

Dr. O'Dea's passion is the comprehensive care of breast patients including prevention, diagnosis, treatment, and survivorship. As the medical director of the breast care center she works closely with other health care providers to ensure the coordination of the highest quality care for those in need of specialized breast care.

As a faculty member of the University of Kansas School of Medicine in Kansas City as well as the Midwest Cancer Alliance, Dr. O'Dea continues to be involved in cancer research with a goal of extending participation in clinical trials to their patients without the need to travel to a metropolitan area.
