HaysMed Senior Focused Care provides inpatient treatment for senior patients 65 and older suffering from a variety of mental health and physical illnesses associated with aging.  The unit is designed to evaluate and treat behavioral problems that are tied directly and indirectly to getting older.  Services are intended to sort out the reasons an elderly person is experiencing behavioral problems and establish a treatment plan that improves a person's sense of well-being and ability to function.

Care includes comprehensive diagnosis, treatment and follow-up care for individuals experiencing emotional, cognitive or behavior distress.  Care is provided 24 hours a day on an individual basis to insure a supportive, protective and therapeutic environment.
