Administrative Team
Terry J. Siek, MSN, RN
Chief Nursing Officer
Terry J. Siek, MSN, RN is the Chief Nursing Officer at Hays Medical Center, Hays, KS. He has been a staff nurse, charge nurse, house supervisor, nursing orientation instructor, director of special projects, staff development coordinator and continuing education coordinator.
He is a member of the OE Core Team - Responsible for the planning and building of OE. Also responsible to teach classes to the staff on the use of OE, problem solving after Go-Live and ongoing interaction with the staff on orders that should be built or that have problems.
Terry is a PCS Core Team member - Responsible for the planning and building of PCS which developed educational materials for the education of staff in the use of PCS, support at Go-Live and problem solving after Go-Live.
Co-Chair of Nursing IT Steering Committee: Formed a post Go-Live team of staff to discuss problems and improvements in the system.
