A patient navigator’s responsibility is to help you work through the diagnostic workup and treatment phase of breast care in order to provide seamless services. A patient navigator ensures that all patients with suspicious findings receive follow up, timely diagnosis and treatment to achieve positive outcomes. Additionally, the patient navigator will make sure that your primary care physician will be kept informed of your present situation and plan of care.

Sarah has been a Registered Nurse since 2010. Prior to the position of Breast Health Nurse Navigator, she was a clinic  and treatment nurse and also a treatment nurse manager for the Dreiling Schmidt Cancer Institute for 18 years.
