HaysMed Breast Care Center Nurse Presents at National Conference
Hays, Kansas – Katelyn M. Mosshart, RN, BSN, Breast Health Nurse Navigator at the Breast Care Center at HaysMed, part of The University of Kansas Health System, recently attended the Academy of Oncology Nurse & Patient Navigators (AONN+) 10th annual conference.
AONN+ is the largest national specialty organization dedicated to improving patient care and quality of life by defining, enhancing, and promoting the role of oncology nurse and patient navigators. The network provides professionals information to better manage the complexities of the cancer care treatment continuum for their patients.
Mosshart co-presented a presentation on the topic of Rural Navigation at one of the breakout sessions.
She, along with other Masonic Cancer Alliance members were also recognized with the Organizational recognition Award that acknowledges employers who embrace the critical role of oncology navigators and foster their growth.
