HaysMed Presents Trauma Symposium 2016
Hays, Kansas (July 6, 2016) – HaysMed Education will present Trauma Symposium 2016 on Friday, August 26, 2016 at the HaysMed, Hadley Conference Rooms, 2220 Canterbury, Hays, Kansas. Registration begins at 8:30 am and the program runs from 9:00 am – 4:00 pm
Featured speakers include Jennifer Pierce, MD, Children’s Mercy Hospital; Tanya Filardi, MD, and John M. Sojka, MD, University of Kansas Hospital; Burt Bote Katubig, MD, Swedish Medical Center; Jerod Grove, MD, HaysMed and Scott Hubbell, MS, RRT-NPS, C-NPT, EagleMed.
Topics to be addressed include abusive head trauma in infants and children, updates on concussion and care, rural farm/ranch trauma, orthopedic injuries, acute thoracic trauma and emergent field airways.
This program is designed for Physicians, PAs, ARNPs, Registered Nurses, Licensed Practical Nurses, RTs, Social Workers, PTs, OTs, EMS and other interested healthcare professionals. SIX (6.0) hours of continuing education credit are available for CNE, CME, EMS and Respiratory Therapy credit. Approval is pending for ASRT Category A credit and paperwork will be provided to submit to KOTA and KPTA for credit.
Fee for the symposium is $60 for non HaysMed associates and $30 for Critical Access Hospital employees.
