PT/OT/Speech—Inpatient Services
*The personal care the patient is given from the PT/OT departments are outstanding! They are caring and work well; for the best smiling faces and encouraging me to do my best. Keep it up! Thank you all. God Bless You.
*I was very pleased with both OT/PT. They were super. Each and everyone of the ladies—I don’t remember all their names—Joyce, Stephanie, Mary, Kammie, Kailey. All of them helped tremendously.
*In general my mother has been very pleased with the overall care she has received from all the departments here.
*My therapist was quite effective, patient and up beat. Sessions were productive and my safety was always paramount. Overall, I would give my therapist high marks.
CPCU
*Upon arrival from Oakley’s emergency room for heart problem, surgeons were ready for surgery to replace the stent in right side of heart. He had excellent care and food during this 4 day stay.
*The care service couldn’t have been better than what I had. All the doctors, nurses and aids did a great job and let me talk to them when I wanted to. Great staff!!!

*Absolutely everyone has been so kind and thoughtful—right down to the smallest detail! Warm blankets when going for x-rays, making my bed while I shower. When you’re sick and scared, kindness and care mean so much! I will never forget the people here. I am so grateful!

Hays Orthopedic Institute
I could write a book about experiences with my back surgeries, but I won’t here, since I have had four surgeries. My experience with Dr. Sharma and his team have been A+!! I mean that sincerely! I hope HaysMed realize what a talented team they have with Dr. Sharma. He’s the best and so is his team members and nursing staff. Let me also say I was so relived to find such a talented team as close as Hays, Kansas. I have told several people about my experience with the Hays Orthopedic team and would be glad to consult with other patients who may be frightened and afraid to proceed to surgery. I thank God every day for Dr. Sharma and his wonderful team.
Western Kansas Urology Associates
*I was a patient of Diane Pfannenstiel who was instrumental in my improvement on fecal and urinary incontinence. Her measurements and exercises, plus continuation have been a real improvement in my health. Thank you.
*Diane made my visit in the clinic a nice experience. She made a very unpleasant ordeal a much more easy procedures to go through. She knew what she was doing and was very professional. Easy to visit with.
Cath Lab

*All staff members in the Cath lab were exceptional. They were all kind, courteous, cheerful and responsive to all needs.

*First I want to say Dr. Ashraf is wonderful. He explained things to us that no other Dr. has. He took time to listen and answer our questions. All the staff were also great. I want to say that Kaitlyn, Devon and Carley and the rest of the team (whose names I can’t remember) put me at ease and were also very friendly from pre op through the procedures. Thank-you to all who helped make this a less scary procedure!
*The care and professionalism shown during my cath procedures was exceptional. Every staff member seemed to enjoy whatever their part was in my care. My admitting nurse was Stephanie and she along with Caitland and Carley were seamless in the provision of care. Patient teaching was provided at each step of the process and they provided an aura of calmness that was greatly appreciated.

Acute Care
*The staff was kind and courteous. Dani and Bridget were thoughtful and kind. Made me feel at ease. The whole experience was a 10.
*I was completely satisfied with my care, as well as the kindness shown to my husband. Three nurses cared for me during and after my procedure. My main nurse pre-post op was Mary Beth. She is very skilled and knowledgeable. Sam assisted me also. I believe my PACU nurse was Tracy. She was so kind and wonderful. My doctor is top notch and explains everything so well. I knew I was in good hands. Very good experience.
Breast Care Center
*Your staff is always friendly! I don’t mind driving all the way from Garden City because you always treat me with respect and kindness.
*My nurse was great. Sorry I didn’t catch her name. Denise always provides excellent care. I feel respected as the patient, and never feel like I am being rushed through. Thank you for your professionalism and fantastic care.
*I have been very satisfied with my visits. I feel I get a very thorough exam in a professional manner.
*Breast Care Center is great! From the ladies at the front – Bertie and Michelle—to Lisa, RN and Denise. Mammo staff was very courteous as was Mandi in Ultrasound. Made me feel very at ease.
*Very pleasant staff and always accommodating in whatever is needed. Friendly and helpful with question and comforting with concerns.
CPCU
*I experienced exceptional care from all haysMed Associates from dietary, housekeeping and nursing. Taylor, RN was by my side when I was worried. Patty L answered many medical ques- tions. Nicole went out of her way to make me comfortable. Also—Jessica Pfeifer, APRN was very helpful to me. Dietary personal great.
*All very good says my husband. Everyone was helpful, kind and caring—good experience. I loved being able to stay in his room and loved being able to have a guest tray so we could eat together. We have hopeful news.
*Nurse Trisha did a wonderful job. PCT Spencer—he was fantastic and we believe he will make a great nurse.
PT/OT/Speech—Outpatient
*I am feeling better after coming here. I feel that it has done me some good coming here.
*I am grateful for all the girls (and Bob) that were so encouraging? You have a wonderful staff and everyone is so friendly and invested in helping their patients. I would not hesitate to recommend them now and in the future!!!! Everyone here is outstanding!!!. Thank You.
*I am completely satisfied with the service that was given to me. They were always there to make sure I was doing the exercise correctly; and if not they corrected me. I feel stronger than the first time I came in here and I have more knowledge on the exercises. I will most likely come back for PT after my surgery and I wish to have the same two people. (Janna, Bob)
*Had very good support to get back to my normal living routine. Got all my goals I was trying to get back to especially my biggest—getting back to sports.
*Janna is an excellent rehab therapist. She is very patient, explains things very well and is obviously very concerned about the welfare of her patients and I would highly recommend her to anyone seeking therapy. If we every need therapy again, we will request Janna for this service.
*Especially liked Bob as PT. He challenges just enough.
*Really enjoyed working with the whole team—Bob, Kelly, Joyce and Debbie. Very pleasant, enjoyable staff and very knowledgeable. I appreciate the patience everyone showed me when I was inpatient with my own limitations.

*PT—Whitney Ford: Excellent PT. Got the exercises and stretches I needed to strengthen upper body and core muscles and to stand up. Very satisfied with staff, very knowledgeable, very helpful. Couldn’t ask for any better?? I have had many PT—been paraplegic since 1971 and had many therapists—Whitney is one of the very best. Thanks.
*I was very impressed with the services and exercises I was given during my therapy. I was very pleased with both Joyce and Whitney as my therapists. Both friendly and cheerful.
ICU
*Hedi in ICU was fantastic. We both thought the ICU did a great job. Wound recommend HaysMed to anyone.
Women’s Center—OB
*We have no complains about the staff. They were all very helpful and pleasant! Thank you for making our stay enjoyable and stress free.
*I don’t even know where to start—everybody was fabulous beginning in labor and delivery with Melanie and Kaitlyn. Kaitlyn was especially compassionate. Knowledgeable—showed a genuine concern and empathy. The C-section/OR staff were once again impressive as well. I wish I could remember everyone’s names but these that I can remember are Tanna, Bryan, Mackenzie, Dr. Green, Dr. Fort, Lindzie, OB Nurse/Recovery, Doris and everybody else involved in our care. Once again our OB nurses—Patti, Alicia, Lindzie, Amanda were always attentive and looking out for the best interest of my daughter and myself. Thank you as well to housekeeping (Shirley), the Kitchen services, etc. On a side note, I also really enjoy and appreciate the soothing and relaxing environment HaysMed OB provides (and channel 22—the healing health channel)
*My nurses were so great—Amanda was very supportive and attentive overnight! All doctors and the anesthesiologists were very clear and communicative. Questions were answered in an easy to understand way and I felt well cared for during the whole experience.
*HaysMed is a wonderful hospital Great doctors and nurses. Abby and Lolly were amazing nurses. They know all the tricks to make a patient comfortable.
*Everyone treated us great and answered all our questions when asked. Great hospital—would recommend to anyone!

*Very friendly, caring, and knowledgeable staff. Susie in Pre op was very good to my wife. Dr. Tim Hoskins was also very thorough and answered every question we asked. My wife can’t remember the nurses name in post op top that wrapped her up in warm blankets. Kathy in OB/Recovery was great to us, very attentive and personable. Very good nurse.

Bone, Joint and Spine
*All of the HaysMed personnel from patient prep to anesthesiology departments were excellent and professional Dr. Cheema and his staff were awesome to deal with and explained step by step what was happening. Thanks to all for my enjoyable stay.

*I had foot surgery with Dr. Cheema. I had the best care from start to finish! The staff rom the time we got there in the morning was so nice. The nurses were very caring. When I got to my room after the surgery the nurses and CAN were so caring. I loved how I could stay there all day and recover after waking up. They never once made me feel like I had to go home before it was ready. I really appreciate that so much. The PT departments was great too! Awesome place.
*My care was excellent from the time I walked into the hospital, pre op, surgery, recovery, bon, Joint Center. Everyone of the nurses they went above and beyond. And the case manager Amy was great also.
