Dr. Heather Harris was born and raised in Garden City, KS. She completed her undergraduate degree at Kansas State University. She attended osteopathic medical school in Des Moines, IA and completed her family practice residency in Botsford, MI. She relocated to Hays in 2003 with her husband to become closer to family, the K-State wildcats, and to begin working at Hays Family Medicine. Her free time is spent playing with her son, golfing, skiing and traveling to warm sandy beaches when time allows.

Dr. Harris's special interests in her practice are female medicine at all ages including colposcopy, and child and adolescent medicine.
