April 2019

All the nurses were encouraging and helpful. Everything was explained thoroughly to us before and during aspects of labor. We could not have had a better labor experience.

Everything went very well.

My main nurse during labor and delivery was Jessie (she mentioned she was a traveling nurse). She was very supportive, encouraging and listened to me. My labor was an “all-hands on deck” situation at times and there were other nurses around – Abby and Susan. Sheena came on shift and helped me get from recovery to my overnight room. She was very kind and helpful while getting myself out of bed, cleaned up, and situated. Thank you to all the wonderful L&D nurses, you gals rock!

All of the labor and delivery staff was wonderful during our stay. In particular, Jennifer, Patti Lane, Doris Rack, Dr. Hoskins were all exceptional. Nursing student Haley was also excellent and we appreciated her knowledge and willingness to ask the other nurses why certain things were done to improve her own knowledge and our care.

Jackie, Susan, and Maegan were all very helpful in this new process and couldn’t have asked for better.

My care was excellent. Staff very polite and knowledgeable.

Everything was excellent.

My husband and I were taken care of very well before/during the delivery of our child. All three of us received exceptional care after delivery as well. Thank you HMC Women’s Center OB Unit.

LeAnn was my favorite nurse, and Carolyn was my favorite aide. Thank you for the excellent care. They were very kind and helpful. Everyone was nice and friendly.

The staff was great; from the nurses, doctors, front desk staff and everyone in between. Everyone was helpful, knowledgeable about their area and very friendly! Thanks for great service!

Everything was great. Everyone was nice and very informative about helping me know what was going on with my girlfriend’s surgery.

We had wonderful care. The nurses and doctors were very understanding of our situation.

Dr. Sloan and her nurse Molly were excellent while I was delivering. My stay was great. All of the nurses were great. They respect if you are trying to sleep and they are on top of everything and always there for whatever reason needed.

All of the staff from Dr. Fort and Dr. Heston, surgical staff to the nursing staff were all absolutely amazing!! Nursing staff was very helpful and attentive! They took the time to explain things so both my wife and I could understand. The care my wife and daughter received was beyond amazing! The staff went above and beyond! Thank you to everyone for the outstanding care that you gave to my wife and daughter!

The nursing staff, OR staff and doctors at HaysMed are amazing. I’ve had such a wonderful experience here during my stay. The nursing staff went above and beyond with answering all of my questions and helping me get the hang of breastfeeding. You all Rock!

Everyone was very supportive and helpful in making me feel comfortable for the birth and helping me with breast feeding/everything else I needed. Great nurses and staff. They make you feel very comfortable and at home.

My nurses, doctor, phlebotomist all were superb with my care. I appreciate them all. Thank you very much.

I had a wonderful experience at HaysMed. Dr. Sloan and nurses Kathy and Sarah gave me great care during my pregnancy. I then had a wonderful birthing experience with Dr. Sloan and Jessie as well as the other assistants during delivery. My night nurse Jennifer gave me wonderful, helpful care as well! Thank you for your expert care! I’m so grateful! Dyane was a blessing to me the day after and Carolyn was so sweet and helpful.

Our nurse Jennifer was the best type of person. Went above and beyond. Everyone is so helpful and ready to be there.

We came in for scheduled C-section . We have received exceptional care from every aspect. From check in/procedure/post procedure/follow-up/observation/discharge. Nursing staff (all of them) polite, effective and on top of all issues. Positive attitudes and very good representation of your institution. They all need recognition for a job well done. PS… Thank goodness for lactation.

Staff was so friendly and really helped me the best they could.

I had Lisa as my nurse my first night after my C-section. My baby had to be transferred and she was just wonderful. She was very personable, compassionate and made sure I was comfortable the whole time.

Doctors and nurses all friendly, helpful, took time to explain treatments and things well.

Susan from labor and delivery is an amazing nurse! We could not have made it through the day without her!

The nurses I had – Molly, Lisa, Emily – are the best so far. The nurses my son had – Doris and Lisa – are also good.

Everybody was very nice. Nurses were very friendly in recovery. Thank you all. Dr. was also very nice. Thanks to the nurses for being patient with me. Abby was a great nurse – thanks for all your help.

Everything has been great. Extra helpful. Calm and soothing during delivery and post-delivery.

All of my nurses have been amazing. Everyone has been so helpful and caring. I couldn’t ask for better service. I had two over the top amazing nurses. Patti and Lisa!

Dr. Jennifer Sloan was an exceptional doctor during delivery and after care. Molly, our overnight nurse, was very good! She provided excellent care and was very good at explaining what she was doing and why for the baby. We really appreciated her care.

I would like to thank all of the nurses for the exceptional care that I got on Thursday and Friday night. Karissa Nelson, Patti Lane, Sheylynn Eickhoff, Molly Willhoft. Especially Dr. Jenna Sloan for all of the amazing care that she gave me and my baby. I was very impressed with the care of everyone that took care of me. And Dr. Claude, Dr. Powell and Dr. Hesston for the care of my daughter with her stay in the NICU.

Dana the RN was fantastic! Very pleasant, kind, caring and all around amazing. She was very encouraging and attentive.

My doctor and nurses were great. Dr. Sloan and Nurse Susan were wonderful. Kept us smiling and were there when we needed her. All other staff were very nice and made us feel very welcome.

My delivery nurse was great and very supportive. My choice to not get an epidural was respected and not questioned. Dr. Sloan was very calm and helpful.

Everyone in with delivery was good with letting my baby and I experience skin to skin and bonding immediately after delivery. Dr. Powell was great with my baby. The post-partum nurses I had were very good with us. The food was good too.

I had 3 staff members stick out to me during my stay in OB. First, it was Emily, working 7am – 7pm. She helped take care of my every need while in labor and was super kind through it all. Very sweet! Also, Dr. Fort, he is kind and always makes you feel comfortable with his jokes. Made me feel less stressed/worried! Lastly, Molly, that took care of me/baby during postpartum care. She was kind and hardworking and never made me feel like I was being annoying, even though I felt like I was.

Thank you! I really appreciate everything you guys did for us – wouldn’t have made it without you!

Please give everyone in OB a “High 5” from us. Everyone did an amazing job taking care of us! Thank you.

I was definitely pleased with my experience here and liked everyone that I met here. All the nurses and doctors were great and very friendly from the moment I arrived! Special thanks to nurse Mary Jo for all her help about breast feeding and being understanding. Also big thanks to nurse Dionne and Dr. Powell for their frequent check ups and friendly explanations and help with the baby!

Overall, thank you to the whole staff for everything! They were great, friendly and wonderful at helping me with my questions and needs! Thank you.

Emily and Susan were both super in L&D. They were both so encouraging and informative – made for a great experience! Nicole, Patti and Carolyn were all awesome after L&D. They did a great job tending to my and the baby’s needs. I have had all 3 of my babies at HMC and have had great experiences each and every time!

Kelly and Molly were extremely helpful, patient and understanding during my delivery despite me being ready to quit. All of the follow up nurses and PCTs I had throughout my stay were exceptional. Such a great Team.

Molly in OB was amazing! Thank you so much for all your help! Lisa in NICU was so helpful and reassuring. Thank you! All staff was great! Very good experience!

You have been doing and always done a wonderful job. Thank you guys for all you are and will do while I am here.

You all were helpful and very nice and took very good care of us both. And attended to everything that me and my son’s need. And the doctors were great too.

I can’t just name one person – my experience here has been wonderful. Not that I wanted to be here. Everyone has been professional but caring. They all helped when I asked and tried to make my stay as good as it could be. Thanks for all who I came in contact with.

The staff was really helpful through the pre-op stage until the discharge stage. Always willing to lend a hand or grab something if need be. They were really helpful in explaining everything for us new parents. Never seemed like we bothered them, which is great! Had a very positive and relaxing experience here. I definitely couldn’t be happier with our choice in facility to deliver our daughter. Would very highly recommend to anyone looking for better care. Great staff. Zach, Karissa, Nicole, Kalin and Alicia Rock!

Everyone taking care of me was amazing. Kathy and Sheena took great care of me when I couldn’t get comfortable after delivery and got my blood pressure down. They were really gentle and understanding and made me laugh when I needed to!

Our experience was wonderful. All of our nurses and the other support staff were so nice and helpful. I would especially like to recognize Alicia and Lolly. They are great and the care provided was exceptional!! I just wish that the cups for water were a little bigger.

Ya’ll have been an amazing staff and a super tremendous amount of help! I appreciate all that you ladies have done to help me! Everyone was so kind an professional before, during and after my surgery. The service was excellent and I would recommend HaysMed to family and friends. Thank you. My husband and I couldn’t have asked for a better medical team/staff than what we received here at HaysMed. From administration to dismissal, everyone has been so helpful and informative with our new baby. We have felt that every question was answered and our nurses have gone above and beyond for all three of us. Thank you HaysMed for a wonderful experience.

The past 60 hours I spent here was such a great experience. Everyone helped, listened and got what I needed. I just feel like at home, or even greater than at home. For me, I’m a first-time mom and I didn’t have a chance to go to nursing classes. Everything is new to me. Thank you. Every nurse was so helpful and walked me thru every point. Your staff in the Women’s Center has made our whole pregnancy a wonderful experience? All of the nurses that took care of us made what could have been a little bit scary absolutely easy. *I never expected my delivery to go so smooth! I know it was because of the amazing staff. Alicia, Jessica, Ann, Patty! You all were so encouraging and supportive to a first time mom – thank you for everything! Also, big, big thanks to Dr. Weber. She came in on her day off to deliver. She made me feel like a super woman!

*I am so grateful to all of my OB family! We had the best care. I can’t name everyone so please give everyone a High 5 as they were all awesome. I don’t have enough lines on this paper to list everyone’s names!~ I wouldn’t have change a thing! We were treated with such love and respect and supported during the harder times. We couldn’t have done this without all of you! Love you all!

*When I came to have my son in Labor and Delivery, I was so amazed by all of the staff and how well they worked together to make sure I was comfortable and relaxed. Dr. Weber was AMAZIN! There were 4 other deliveries going on at the same time, but she made me feel like I was the only patient there and I was a top priority. Thank you to all the OB Women’s Center staff for taking great care of my son and I while we stayed there. You all Rocked!!!

*We had a wonderful experience, many of the nurses go far above and beyond. Patti was my nurse for labor and delivery and was truly a blessing. She was very patient, kind, encouraging, knowledgeable and gave extra care to make me more comfortable. Thanks to Patti from myself and my husband. Jessica the night nurse was also wonderful. She went above and beyond in making me comfortable. Melanie was an answered prayer – she was more than happy to help with anything – gave much needed encouragement and caring. She was a genuine heart for what she does. Dr. Fort was Mr. Wonderful as always. Nurses Shannon and Kellie were great too. Nurse Susan went above and beyond getting us ready to go home. Dr. Pope, nurse Kaitlin and Jill in lactation. We had a top notch hospital stay. Thanks to all at HMC.

*My wife and I were extremely impressed with Kalin, RN and Lolly, RN. Kalin was our delivery nurse. She was very supportive and answered every question we had. Lolly, RN was our night nurse. She was very caring in giving helpful suggestions and made our nights a very pleasant experience. Leas the PCT was also very good. We enjoyed her company and hard work. You have very good staff.
