Meet Dr. Oluwaseun Akinbo
Dr. Akinbo graduated Summa Cum Laude with a 4.0 GPA from the University of South Florida where he obtained his Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Sciences. He was recognized as a King O’Neal scholar, and won numerous other awards and scholarships as an undergraduate. He then obtained his medical degree from Columbia University. He completed his Orthopedic Surgery residency at the historic Howard University where he served as the administrative chief resident during his final year of residency; he also served on the House-staff executive council and the Orthopaedic education committee at Howard University Hospital. He completed fellowship training in hip and knee replacement surgery at the world-renowned New England Baptist Hospital in Boston, Massachusetts. Dr. Akinbo has been published in multiple peer reviewed journals, serves as a peer reviewer for multiple Orthopedic surgery journals. Dr. Akinbo plans to serve his patients as an orthopedic surgeon skilled in caring for his patients in the most intelligent, efficient, and cost effective manner.
