I had a wonderful experience at HaysMed. Dr. Sloan and nurses Kathy and Sarah gave me great care during my pregnancy. I then had a wonderful birthing experience with Dr. Sloan and Jessie as well as the other assistants during delivery. My night nurse Jennifer gave me wonderful, helpful care as well! Thank you for your expert care! I’m so grateful! Dyane was a blessing to me the day after and Carolyn was so sweet and helpful.

Our nurse Jennifer was the best type of person. Went above and beyond. Everyone is so helpful and ready to be there.

We came in for scheduled C-section . We have received exceptional care from every aspect. From check in/procedure/post procedure/follow-up/observation/discharge. Nursing staff (all of them) polite, effective and on top of all issues. Positive attitudes and very good representation of your institution. They all need recognition for a job well done. PS… Thank goodness for lactation.

I had Lisa as my nurse my first night after my C-section. My baby had to be transferred and she was just wonderful. She was very personable, compassionate and made sure I was comfortable the whole time.

Susan from labor and delivery is an amazing nurse! We could not have made it through the day without her!

The nurses I had – Molly, Lisa, Emily – are the best so far. The nurses my son had – Doris and Lisa – are also good.

Everybody was very nice. Nurses were very friendly in recovery. Thank you all. Dr. was also very nice. Thanks to the nurses for being patient with me. Abby was a great nurse – thanks for all your help.

Everything has been great. Extra helpful. Calm and soothing during delivery and post-delivery.

All of my nurses have been amazing. Everyone has been so helpful and caring. I couldn’t ask for better service. I had two over the top amazing nurses. Patti and Lisa!

Dr. Jennifer Sloan was an exceptional doctor during delivery and after care. Molly, our overnight nurse, was very good! She provided excellent care and was very good at explaining what she was doing and why for the baby. We really appreciated her care.

I would like to thank all of the nurses for the exceptional care that I got on Thursday and Friday night. Karissa Nelson, Patti Lane, Sheylynn Eickhoff, Molly Willhoft. Especially Dr. Jenna Sloan for all of the amazing care that she gave me and my baby. I was very impressed with the care of everyone that took care of me. And Dr. Claude, Dr. Powell and Dr. Hesston for the care of my daughter with her stay in the NICU.

Dana the RN was fantastic! Very pleasant, kind, caring and all around amazing. She was very encouraging and attentive.

My doctor and nurses were great. Dr. Sloan and Nurse Susan were wonderful. Kept us smiling and were there when we needed her. All other staff were very nice and made us feel very welcome.

My delivery nurse was great and very supportive. My choice to not get an epidural was respected and not questioned. Dr. Sloan was very calm and helpful.

Everyone in with delivery was good with letting my baby and I experience skin to skin and bonding immediately after delivery. Dr. Powell was great with my baby. The post-partum nurses I had were very good with us. The food was good too.

I had 3 staff members stick out to me during my stay in OB. First, it was Emily, working 7am – 7pm. She helped take care of my every need while in labor and was super kind through it all. Very sweet! Also, Dr. Fort, he is kind and always makes you feel comfortable with his jokes. Made me feel less stressed/worried! Lastly, Molly, that took care of me/baby during postpartum care. She was kind and hardworking and never made me feel like I was being annoying, even though I felt like I was.

Thank you! I really appreciate everything you guys did for us – wouldn’t have made it without you!

Please give everyone in OB a “High 5” from us. Everyone did an amazing job taking care of us! Thank you.

I was definitely pleased with my experience here and liked everyone that I met here. All the nurses and doctors were great and very friendly from the moment I arrived! Special thanks to nurse Mary Jo for all her help about breast feeding and being understanding. Also big thanks to nurse Dionne and Dr. Powell for their frequent check ups and friendly explanations and help with the baby!

Kelly and Molly were extremely helpful, patient and understanding during my delivery despite me being ready to quit. All of the follow up nurses and PCTs I had throughout my stay were exceptional. Such a great Team.

Everyone was so kind an professional before, during and after my surgery. The service was excellent and I would recommend HaysMed to family and friends. Thank you. From the moment we walked in the OB unit we were well taken care of. We really enjoyed the conversation with all the nurses. They treated me with much compassion. They offered information about everything going on and checked on me often. Overall we had a great experience and would recommend HaysMed OB to anyone!

Wonderful experience! This is my third baby and I have been very apprehensive about the surgery but everyone was very thorough about explaining procedures and very understanding. Anesthesia was amazing and overall the care and service I have received have been outstanding. Thank you to Dr. Weber and all the nurses and hospital staff who have made this such a good experience. We recently had our daughter and wanted to thank the entire OB department for helping make our stay and overall experience exceptional! From the nurses to the anesthesiologist to every doctor, they all made an effort to discuss, explain, and answer any questions we had. Thank you for the great care!

All the staff was great! They all treated me and my family with kindness and respect.

Our stay for the birth of our son did not go as we had always hoped, as there were complications on my and his end. However, even through the actual events that occurred, Hays Med Staff were very supportive of us. They were extremely caring and listened to us and our wishes. Dr. Weber was exceptional and really helped me in delivery stick to my wishes and do her all to make sure I was okay and baby too. Our nurses really helped us keep our peace of mind when things seemed to be getting hard. We extend many thanks to Ann, Kaitlin, Dianne, Patty, and the various nursing students. Dr. Squire took exceptional care of our son and so did Dr. Vasa. They explained everything to us and listened to our concerns/questions. When our son had to stay, the staff was extremely accommodating to me and my husband, taking care of our every need. We would deliver here again many times over. We live in Colby

My labor and delivery nurse, Ann, took wonderful care of me and my family. She went beyond the norm and it made my experience great. All of my nursing staff took excellent care of my son and I. They were friendly, helpful, and answered the call light quickly. They were always there when we needed them and also did a great job with the teaching.

Every aspect of my stay was excellent!! Bridget in ambulatory treated me with kindness and respect. Alanna who came to get me for surgery was very kind and kept me informed in what was going on. Sarah Green and Caitlyn Moss were wonderful to wake to in PACU and were concerned with my comfort and pain. And all the OB girls were great! Shannon, Kathy, Doris, Nicole, Carolyn, and Maranda were all amazing. Last but not least, Dr. Weber and Dr. Langton answered all my questions, helped ease my concerns and went out of their way to be sure I was comfortable with everything that would happen.

We were so impressed with everyone at Hays Med Center. From the moment we got here everyone was so nice. Ann was wonderful in the delivery room and when we had to have a C-section everyone in there was wonderful, including Debbie. Ann helped with recovery as well and really helped so much. Then the wonderful nurses. We had Jessica, who was great, and Lolly and lots of others to many to name. But Chlesea really helped so much and put us at ease and was so great to us. Can’t thank her enough! Food was good also and Hodny and Squire are great too!

We absolutely enjoyed all the service, help, advice….everything while we were here to deliver our new little girl. Many helped us and we appreciated it all. First off, Dr. Hodny is amazing! Thanks so much! Maranda and Dyane were two that really stuck out since they helped me a lot around delivery time. Everyone was exceptional! Thanks again!

Thank you to everyone who came into our little family’s life and helped us introduce our little man to the world! Super thanks to Kathy for taking care of us our first day, last day, and even days between, for checking up even when she wasn’t our nurse. Every member of the C-section I had was awesome and made the whole situation more enjoyable.

Everyone who took care of my daughter and I during our stay was exceptional! The staff in hays Medical Center has been one of the best who has attended me. Thank you for all your hard work.

All nurses caring for me and my children have been great! The NICU nurses are wonderful! My husband has received better assistance this time as well.

Ann was my nurse during delivery and she was amazing! She took great care of me and was very attentive to my needs. She had a wonderful attitude and was very helpful the entire time. My night nurse was Kaitlin. She was friendly with a great attitude and helped me with all I needed. These ladies were great. Other staff, I did not get all names, were also great and we thank you for all you do! Kellie was my nurse from 1 am until the morning. She was also wonderful and very helpful. Great attitude! Chelsea was my day nurse. She was very helpful and positive! Great nurse and helped me with everything I needed.

Thank you so much for the wonderful treatment we received during our stay at the OB unit. This was our second child, both delivered here. Dr. Hodny and Dr. Fort are both excellent. The nurses in this unit are all amazing. The first part of our stay came at a very busy time, but we still received excellent care. We have been so impressed both times we have had babies delivered here. Thanks to all the nurses who spent time with us, including Jessica, Andrea, Lisa, Nicole, Kalin, and the nurses at the NICU. Kalin in particular went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable. She does an awesome job. It was also nice to see Abbey who was so great during our stay two years ago, though we were unable to have her with us this time. Bottom line, this is a great place to have a baby and we love it here!

This is a little late but I wanted to say how great the care was when I had my son. Kaitlin was absolutely great and really on top of her stuff. I had a complicated labor that ended in a stat C-section and she made me feel like I was in great hands! I knew she had everything under control which helped ease my nerves. I cannot thank her enough for such great care. Jessika was also great and provided great patient care. OB is a great unit and I appreciated the quality care.

Each time I stay I seem to have a better experience than the last, which is to say a lot. You have an exceptional team of nurses. Kalin was the one that helped all day and delivery. She did an amazing job I couldn’t have asked for a better experience of delivering. Lisa was my next day nurse. Once again, wonderful nurse. She helped in any way I needed and was very kind. Jill was super helpful and worked with me beyond what I thought I would get. Thank you for everything.

The whole experience has been amazing. The staff was very willing to answer questions or any concerns we had with our new baby boy. The nurses on OB made sure we had everything we needed and made sure we were comfortable during our stay. My wife and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience.

Our stay in labor and Delivery has been absolutely great! We greatly appreciate all of the kind, smiling faces taking care of baby and momma through the entire process. Every nurse, PCT, and HUC was beyond patient and understanding with us, even through our moments of panic and dumb questions. The list goes on but we really could not have gotten through without Abby. She coached us through the most intense/emotional thing we’ve done in our lives. She never lost her temper and helped us understand everything that was happening. Thank you to all involved who helped bring our wonderful baby boy into this world.

All staff members have made this unplanned miracle a wonderful experience. Dyane helped greatly to reassure my fears and calm me during the world wind of news leading to my unplanned C section. Kathy, Jessica B., Kalin, Ann, and Carolyn were very informational and sympathetic. Becca (HUC) was very helpful in obtaining everything for me to take the placenta home. I am so grateful for Dr. Weber and Pope’s knowledge and caring nature.

Also a special thanks to Dr. John Lloyd for taking such good care  of my wife during delivery. To all the nurses who helped look after my son, I want to thank Amanda Willis for doing a great job with Braiden during our stay at HMC. Thanks also to Kaitlin and Meranda for going above and beyond to make my wife comfortable and happy while here. A special thanks also to Jill Rozean for giving my wife the understanding and confidence she needed to overcome the obstacle of breastfeeding. I’m very grateful to all the nurses and staff who helped us through this and making us feel welcome.

Kalin – her approach to cope is endearing. A true advocate for her patient. The right person at the right time.  Kelli – She was exactly the right nurse when we needed her, kept me focused in delivery and labor, provided comfort, but also strength.  Jill – a true advocate for me.  Dr. Weber – supportive, reliable, provider.  RN’s Chelsea, Jessica, Nicole, Lisa – all very knowledgeable nurses who provided support and guidance at any moment. PCT Carolyn – we looked forward to her company and smile each day!

Jill was very patient with me and made me feel much more confident with breastfeeding. Thank you.

I cannot pick just one individual to recognize because everyone from checking in to leaving provided the most spectacular care myself and child could have possibly received. My first child was born in at another out of state hospital, which is supposed to be one of the top premiere women and children’s hospital in the nation. However, staff here has far surpassed my experience there. Thank you, thank you, thank you! So lucky to be back in Kansas!

All of the staff have been amazing.  Dr. Weber, Anesthesia, and all of the nurses.  Jill helped so much with breastfeeding and all the others were helpful, comforting, supporting and took good care of baby and I.  Dr. Squire was very knowledgeable and helpful and even came in twice so I could talk to her.  Dr. Weber is an amazing OB/GYN.  I appreciated all of you!

Everyone was great from top to bottom.  All of the nurses were extremely helpful and knowledgeable.  Dr. Hodny was great.  The facilities were great as well.  The coffee machine is terrific!

Everyone was truly phenomenal at helping me transition into my first days of motherhood.

Katerina, our night nurse in labor and delivery was fantastic.  She was very helpful and had a great attitude.  Dr. Weber was terrific throughout our entire pregnancy.

I really appreciated Ann that worked the morning shift.  She was very nice and helped me through some difficult contractions.

Jessica and Ann were our nurses during labor and delivery.  They were comforting, caring and eased a lot of stress and anxiety about delivery.  We appreciate all the staff that helped during our stay.  I will recommend HaysMed to anyone.

Carolyn was very helpful, always had a smile on her face.  Shannon is an awesome nurse.  She was very knowledgeable and gave great breast feeding advice.  Both these ladies made my stay at HaysMed a wonderful experience.

All the staff people were truly amazing.  I have to say this is the best hospital I have ever stayed at.  Food was way better than anywhere else.  I would definitely come back here again because it is an awesome atmosphere to be around.  Thank you for all you have done for me and my baby.

Jill was very helpful and patient.  She had a lot of great tips and recommendations.  Jill is an exceptional resource for our community.  We are lucky to have such a knowledgeable and caring lactation consultant.

Cindy our labor nurse was great and so helpful.  All of the nurses on the maternity floor were very helpful with assisting me in breastfeeding.  Please make sure all of them know it was much appreciated.  This is a wonderful facility with such a great team of nurses and doctors.  We are very happy with Dr, Hodny and Buckles and their help as well.

We could not be more impressed with the care we have received.  Each and every person that we have interacted with has left such a positive impact on us.  Every question we have had or any need there has been has been met quickly and professionally.  Dr. Connell was exceptional and helped me feel so much as peace.  We are very, very thankful for Dr. Fort; we wouldn’t have wanted anyone else.  Our night nurse, Nicole, was also a huge help and very kind.  It’s amazing how a fantastic medical team can make all the difference in the world when going through a major life change.  Thank you.

Lolly, Jessica and Cindy were all exceptional nurses!  Great patient care and wonderful during labor and delivery.  Dr. Fort was great as always.  Very energetic in the delivery room joking and having fun.  He made delivery a wonderful experience.  Great bedside manner.  Dr. Green was very informative during the epidural and made for a great experience.  He made sure I was comfortable before leaving the room.  Susan was great during delivery and was also very informative/helpful at dismissal.

The nurses, doctors – both OB/GYN and Peds are all phenomenal.  They were so friendly and explained everything and answered all of our questions.  Had great service.

Ann has been a wonderful, caring lady.  She has done an excellent job tending to my needs and to the babies needs.  Its truly wonderful to have an RN that you can tell that she loves her job and appreciates her patients.  My night nurse, Danay was very caring and took to our needs.  Amazing staff.  Always willing to help out.  Really enjoy the staff team here.

We are more than happy with the nursing staff in labor and delivery who took exceptional care of us.  Wonderful team!  RN Abby was especially amazing to me during my labor and made me feel encouraged and relaxed.  So happy I had her in there – Thank you Abby!  Dr. Weber is a great doctor and we are so happy we had her deliver our baby girl.  Together they helped make this a wonderful experience.  Thanks for everything.

The nurses were wonderful.  I really appreciated Carolyn (PCT) and all her help while I was in OB.  She was very helpful, always upbeat and very friendly!  Danay on nights was also very helpful and friendly as our nurse for 2 nights.  All the staff that came through the door were wonderful!  Greatly appreciated.

Patty and Cindy were my delivery coaches and they went above and beyond to help me deliver a healthy little girl.  With their help I had a comfortable delivery and couldn’t have done it without them!  They were awesome!

The good Lord brings us babies, but its doctors, nurses, support staff and volunteers that makes bringing a miracle into the world doable.  My husband and I have been to this hospital to deliver babies for the last 13 years.  It is comforting knowing that consistency and quality are important to all of you, but so is improvement and change as the need presents itself.  Thank You!  For taking care of my babies, my husband and myself. Lolly was absolutely fantastic during my labor, delivery and stay at HaysMed.  She was one of the most confident, competent and caring people I have met at HMC.  She is truly outstanding at her job and made this experience wonderful.  She’s awesome.

Sharon and Katelin both did an amazing job taking care of me and heling me through a stressful and crazy day.  I also appeciate the surgical staff for safely bringing my son into the world.

This is our second child.  We have had exceptional doctor, staff and nurses during both of our child births.  Our anesthesiologist was great about patient care and explaining every detail.  Dr. Hodny and Dr. Buckles are both great.  Our nurses were amazing.  Kalin and Lisa both did an outstanding job and were very helpful with breastfeeding.  Emily, Doris and Carolyn did an outstanding job taking care of us.  We will continue to drive 40 miles one way for the amazing care we get at HaysMed.  Thank you all for the amazing job.  Lisa did an outstanding job explaining and discussing all details of our case.  She was greatly appreciated.

Everyone was very courteous and the hospitality is amazing.  The stay was very comfortable for all of us and I appreciate that all of my concerns were taken care of.  Love this hospital and staff!

I would like to thank my nurses and pct’s.  They all took time when I needed them or asked questions.  All of them were very nice and helpful.  They were all especially nice to my 5 ½ year old son, whether it was him asking questions or talking to them.  I really appreciate them taking the time to acknowledge him as well.  Thank You!

I just wanted to thank all the wonderful staff in the womens center.  Giving birth to my second child was such a joy and the care was outstanding.  I would especially like to recognize my delivery nurse, Susan.  She was so positive and helpful.  We feel so blessed to have been able to welcome our daughter into the world with such a loving/caring staff here at HMC.  We truly appreciate all that has been done for us.”

Me and my family have received amazing support and care.  Every person we have worked with has been amazing.  We have had an emergency breech c-section baby.  We showed up on Thursday night in quite a rush.  They had baby delivered within 45 minutes of us showing up.  We are now both healthy and hopefully going home soon.  The nurses and doctors have been amazing.  Thanks for bringing my little girl safely into the world.  RNs Jill and Kate were amazing as well as Dr. Pope and Dr. Lloyd

Our overall experience at the hospital has been wonderful.  Dr. Fort impressed us at every turn and has been amazing throughout the entire pregnancy!  Susan was over the top when it came to helping see our needs with breastfeeding and encouraging us to stay positive and keep on pumping!  Kaitlin made our evenings super peaceful and was a major blessing throughout the night!  The NICU nurses have been there through our entire stressful experience and have more than met our expectations.  I felt like our son was king.  They were extremely knowledgeable and helped keep us calm.  You have put together an amazing team of nursese and staff

I was in OB over the weekend.  My nurse Lisa was amazing.  Attentive, compassionate and very thorough, she should be commended on being a wonderful asset to the hospital.  Dr. Hodny’s office staff is wonderful and his attention to detail was truly comforting.

Susan was our nurse for the delivery and for the majority of the evening after he was born.  She was INCREDIBLE!!  We loved everything she did to help with us.  The care and encouragement she provided was above and beyond expectations.  I (we) felt so much better knowing she was caring for us and our baby.  The entire nursing staff did great… but we were so appreciative of Susan.

All of our nurses were great!  Our needs were promptly met and everyone anticipated what we needed.  We were very happy with our stay and this region of the state is very fortunate to have such an advanced facility to come to.

Anne was amazing!  She was very nice and did a wonderful job taking care of me.  Also, Dr. Connell was fabulous during my c-section.  Carolyn was so kind and helpful.  Great stay!

Exceptional care has been taken care of me and my child prior and after delivery.  I couldn’t ask for any better team to get the job done.  This type of care to patient is not common in Michigan.

Kalin, RN did awesome teaching and was willing to spend a lot of time through the late hours doping it with me so it was finished before Dr. rounds and one thing less to stress over so I could get to the baby in Wichita.  Every encouraging and knowledgeable on breastfeeding pros/cons/etc.  Dr. Fort was by far SUPERB!!  Situation could have been extremely stressful and scary for me and family.  Took time to explain every change/reasons/problems and possible outcomes.  Was very upfront and honest.  Spoke to us at our level, took in our opinion/concerns.  Kept us completely informed and up to date with baby and all.

All the nurses and doctors were great with providing information and being phenomenally caring and helpful with the pain and confusion during recovery.  I couldn’t have asked for more.  Thank You.

My wife and I are very pleased with the care we receive here at Hays.  All the staff in the OB department are very nice and understanding.  We had our daughter in a different hospital and they compared nothing to the treatment we have gotten here.  I would recommend this department to anyone getting ready to have a baby.  Not just were the floor nurses amazing, the trainees were, as well as the housekeepers keeping things cleaned and stocked up.  Great Job!!  Thanks to everyone for making us feel at home while we were here.
