2024 Respiratory Therapist of the Year
HaysMed is proud to announce Linda Lukens as the 2024 Respiratory Therapist of the Year!
“Linda has proven herself to be an invaluable asset here at HaysMed. Her knowledge base, compassionate care, and willingness to go above and beyond for her patients and coworkers have earned her the honor of being named the 2024 RT of the Year.” said Hunter Bell, HaysMed Cardiopulmonary Manager.
When asked why she chooses HaysMed, Linda says, “HaysMed is the perfect size hospital for me. We get to further our skills as respiratory therapists, but we don’t become just a number on a piece of paper. I’ve really enjoyed working here over the past 20 years.“
Respiratory therapists specialize in caring for patients with breathing or cardiopulmonary disorders, helping people of all ages, from premature infants to elderly patients with conditions like COPD.
