Cold & Flu Season Is Coming Let’s Get Ahead of It!

At the HaysMed Center for Women’s Health, we’re here to help you protect yourself and your baby this season. The American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists and Centers for Disease Control and Prevention recommend that pregnant patients receive:

✅ RSV Vaccine between 32–36 weeks gestation
✅ Flu Vaccine during any trimester as soon as it’s available

These vaccines help prevent serious illness and offer early protection for your newborn during their most vulnerable months. Schedule a visit with your provider today to talk about your vaccine options and get ahead of RSV and flu season.

Fitness Trail Closure Notice – Starting Monday, October 6

The HaysMed section of the fitness trail will be temporarily closed for widening and repouring work. This closure includes the trail access from 22nd Street (between HaysMed and Fort Hays Tech North Central) extending north to HaysMed Bright Minds.

Please do not use the fitness trail or enter the construction area. Fresh concrete will be poured, and the site will be hazardous throughout the demolition and repouring process.

Still Open & Accessible:

  • Orange Playground
  • Outdoor Gazebo
  • Pickleball Court

These areas remain open to Associates and the public and can be accessed from parking lot I, east of Bickle Pavillion (entrance A).

Parking Lot Impact:
Sections of the parking lot I will be closed intermittently to accommodate cement trucks and construction equipment.

Timeline:
Work begins Monday, October 6 with demolition starting that day.
We anticipate the trail will be closed for 2–3 weeks, depending on weather conditions.
