HaysMed Central Sterile Leaders Serve on Kansas Healthcare Board
HaysMed se enorgullece de reconocer Nancy De La Rosa, Central Sterile Evening Lead Technician, and Elise Williams, Manager of Central Sterile, on their recent appointments to the board of the Kansas Society for Healthcare Central Service Professionals (KSHCSP).
Founded in 1972, KSHCSP is dedicated to the continuous improvement of Central Service processes through education, communication, and professional development. The organization works to advance sterile processing practices across Kansas while supporting the growth and success of professionals in the field.
Central Sterile departments play a vital role in every hospital, ensuring that surgical instruments and medical equipment are properly cleaned, sterilized, and ready for safe patient care. Their work helps prevent infection, supports clinical teams throughout the hospital, and contributes directly to positive patient outcomes.
