HaysMed Celebrates 2025 Graduates of the KHA Leadership Institute
HaysMed is proud to recognize two exceptional leaders who graduated as part of the 2025 Kansas Hospital Association (KHA) Leadership Institute: Brian Pfannenstiel, Director of Critical Care at HaysMed, and Megan Donecker, Sleep Lab Director at Pawnee Valley Community Hospital.
The KHA Leadership Institute is a respected program designed to develop and empower emerging healthcare leaders across Kansas. Participants are nominated by their hospital’s CEO and selected for their potential to drive innovation, collaboration, and excellence in healthcare delivery.
Megan Donecker has played a key role in expanding sleep health services at PVCH, ensuring access to high-quality diagnostics and treatment for rural communities.
Brian Pfannenstiel has been instrumental in advancing critical care services at HaysMed, leading with clinical expertise and a deep commitment to patient-centered care. He said, “The KHA Leadership Institute has provided me with increased knowledge, skills, and perspectives to become a more dynamic leader in the healthcare setting”.
