National Radiologic Technology Week® is observed each year during the week of November 8, commemorating the discovery of the x-ray by Wilhelm Conrad Roentgen in 1895. This year’s celebration runs from November 2–8, and the theme is “The Kaleidoscope of Radiologic Technology.” It’s a beautiful reminder of the many ways imaging professionals contribute to the full spectrum of healthcare.

This year’s theme, provided by the American Society of Radiologic Technologists is “The Kaleidoscope of Radiologic Technology.” The theme links the multitude of medical imaging and radiation therapy practice areas and medical procedures into a single vision and celebration.
