WHAT INSPIRES YOU TO STAY MOTIVATED AND LIVE A HEALTHY LIFESTYLE?
My internal motivation comes mostly from helping others reach their fitness goals. It’s so rewarding to me when one of my clients or ‘gym buddies’ reach a goal they’ve set for themself. Their successes push me to work harder to attain my own personal goals! Fitness has done so much to help me improve my life and I love that I get to help others reap those benefits as well. Once they start seeing that improvement for the first time it’s an awesome feeling. Fitness has been so good for me not only physically but mentally as well. It’s the ultimate stress relief, and I can tell a difference when I haven’t gotten enough exercise lately. I’m so glad that I’m in a field which allows me to use my passion for exercise to help others change their lives.

I have been involved in sports my whole life and played college volleyball for Fort Hays State University. This has helped me continue to live a healthy lifestyle and continue to stay motivated. I got into this profession so I could help motivate others and encourage them to become the best version of themselves physically and mentally. The benefits of fitness go far beyond just physical, it is also a good way to manage stress, improve mental health, and your overall quality of life.

Growing up I was involved in a variety of sports and being active has always been a huge and very important part of my life. I got into a career in fitness because living a healthy lifestyle and helping others achieve one is what I am most passionate about. Helping people become a healthier version of themselves and teaching them the great benefits of living an active, yet balanced lifestyle is what keeps me motivated. I love watching my family, friends, and clients start reaching their goals and seeing so many areas of their lives improve because of this. Personally, a lot of my motivation to continue to live an active lifestyle comes from wanting to live a long and healthy life and be there for my future kids and (hopefully) grandkids in every way.

Growing up I was involved in sports, which motivated me as I got older to be healthy and active. One of my biggest motivators when it comes to living a healthy and active lifestyle comes from me being born with club foot. There was a very slim chance that I’d even be able to walk but the doctors worked their magic and made it happen. I think that it would be very selfish of me if I didn’t try and push my body to its limits day in and day out. Another huge motivator came from my Grandpa. When I was growing up he would always be outside with us boys doing activities with us and playing sports even in his 70’s. The fact that he was able to do that motivates me to stay healthy and stay active so one day I’ll be able to partake in activities and sports with my future grandkids. Fitness has helped me become confident, helped me overcome asthma, helped me be one of the most positive people I know, and sky rocketed my enthusiasm to instill the benefits of fitness in everybody around me. I challenge everybody to see what it can do for you!
